Each time the button pressed, new layout is loaded. `Reset` button will reset layout to default view. This layout is tested with 1920x1200 monitor. There will be Timeline and Splines on the second monitor (to the left). `SP` is for Splines, `TL` button will show TimeLine instead of Nodes, clicking `INSP` will hide inspector. Since we don't have Spline/Keyframe(Timeline) buttons anymore, we can toggle Timeline and Splines, they will appear instead of Nodes view:Ĭlicking `ND` will bring Nodes back. This strip both consumes user space and also once you've clicked on any of these buttons, custom layout won't be expanding windows on. I also got rid of LayoutStrip with Console, Keyframes and Node buttons. TimeView will be moved to the bottom, and now the viewers and nodes can be expanded with. First I prepared a nice single-monitor solution, which is accessible by clicking `ND` button, which stands for Nodes to. I created a bunch of presets, that are available in Layouter UI. This is the reason Layouter has that many buttons: So I decided to focus on creating custom layouts for default view. You can load and play with these layouts by copying `beta` folder from `Reactor:Deploy/Layouts` to `UserData:Layouts` and then press Load Layout button in Layouter UI. I called these layouts Beta, for a reason: they work predictably both on Mac and PC, but switching/resetting views from beta layouts can cause Fusion to crash on Windows. Main window has Flow/Timeline/Splines/Terminal tabs, each can be expanded with shortcut:Īnd this is a layout with detached modifiers: For instance, this is a layout with tabbed view. Actually, you need to adjust them manually so they will work predictably. I've spend some time testing different layouts, and of course first I tried to load old Fusion9 ones. This is basic Layouter script functionality. If you pass a layout file path as a parameter, that layout will be loaded. So, to access load/save layout dialogue we can still use comp.CurrentFrame:LoadLayout(). TLDR: It turned out Fusion 16 supports loading and saving custom layouts, and here's a dedicated script for that. I was just going to update Toolbar16 in Reactor with some new features, but I think this update deserves separate WSL post.
